   before I use negative lifesteal equipment one question.
   Negative life steal causes me damage if I have it negative in my stats?
   or does it nerf my lifesteal?

   Both. If your positive lifesteal is greater in magnitude than the negative, it's just reduced. If your negative is greater in magnitude than the positive, it will damage you by the difference.
