Archer/Hunter Help Need Help With Ele Def

How can i fix my -220 earth def?
I would like to use Gales Force, TTide and maybe Cluster with my build.
I use:
Cumulonimbus
Stratosphere
The Ephemeral
Capricorn
Moon Pool Circlet
Yang
Vanguard
Bottled Tunderstorm
(Sadly cant link Wynndata because i didnt post often enough)

 

that number isnt really a problem if you arent playing tank, so no need to fix the defences
btw it can get a bit better changing some pieces if you like

You're using TWA build, having negative defense on an element that you don't have is natural. It's almost inevitable unless you change your build to have earth.

 

you can sacrifice 1k bombs to improve et eledefs, but this requires ahc completion. assuming you're physically able to opt for this, it's up to you whether the tradeoff is worth it. you could probably improve your build overall with better accessories (e.g. dhy neck) but i assume you don't have that yet.

On an build using agility over defence as it's "defensive" element, I wouldn't worry too much about -ele defs unless they're really bad since they only apply when hit and agility reduces the times you get hit, essentially nullifying the issue most of the time. for defensive builds however, you always get hit but take less overall damage due to how defence works. Elemental weaknesses bypass this so -200 earth on a defence build would yield 200 additional damage per hit from earth damage mobs after defence is applied to the damage

can change courier's to stratosphere but it changes some stuff that might be personal taste
