Mythic Reliks (and most Reliks in general) lack lore. This also applies to some Legendary item releases, and all of tradeable Fabled items. ...but I digress, this thread is me writing some fanmade lore for Mythic Reliks.

An item's lore is very effective in telling the origin story of the item (or a story related to the item or its origins), but I'm not an experienced writer, so expect inconsistencies in lore or stories that make no sense.

I was also initially planning to post this on Feedback, then decided this would be a better place for it, so here it goes.

Aftershock: For an ordinary person, shifts in solid ground would only be described as movements of tectonic plates, creating massive earthquakes as the two plates grind against each other. For some who were gifted with the powers of the Earth, it was an omen of change - an omen of things to come.
Slykaar's shamanic rituals has distorted the harmony and balance of the Jungle, its effects most visible in the form of slimes. The Iboju tribe, fearful that it would affect the well being of their sister tribes in Dernal as well, created this artifact of power that forced them to disperse in large numbers.

Toxoplasmosis: Dernal is home to some of the most poisonous species, their venom extracted by the tribe shamans mostly for their medicinal purposes. One shaman, however, weaponized the extracts by creating this vile totem, forever etching his name to the history of Dernal by withering away entire legions of corrupted that dared defile their jungle.

Fantasia: Efilim's connection to the Light has resulted in the creation of this artifact of blinding light in all its colorful brilliance. Nobody knows how it came to exist, or why. All that is known about this mysterious artifact is only for the ears of those who spread the joys of light.

Hadal: "Some parts of the ocean are never meant to be explored. This Relik is crafted in memory of those who could not survive the wrath of the ocean, doomed to expire in the ravaging tides that consumed them whole. May they rest in peace."

Sunstar: The Olm were skilled artisans, capable of creating magical artifacts that only a select few could truly utilize to devastating potential. Of many of these artifacts, only one survived to the present day - a rod with a crescent shaped head - gleaming with such immense light, that darkness flees before its mere presence.
"It doesn't matter where the light shines, or how brilliantly. It doesn't matter when it begins to show its brilliance. The only thing it matters is, no matter how small it may be, it's inside everyone, and anyone who can find it will be..." The rest of the inscription is illegible.

Olympic: Merely holding this artifact aloft gives its wielder immeasurable mobility, able to leap over even the tallest structures in a single bound. Very little of its power remains to this day, however, as the enchantments on this cross have started to fade, only carrying a figment of its true prowess.
Once every four years, people of Wynn would host events that would determine those who excel in mobility, strength and mind. One athlete has managed to leap higher than the tallest spikes of the Tower of Ascension, eventually leaving the orbit... and returning to the ground, his essence compressed and concentrated, into a mysterious cross.

Absolution: Despite the Dwarves' systematic genocide of the Doguns, some of the members of the latter species forgave them for the actions of their power-hungry capital, making peace with those who did not want this war to continue. Carved into this staff is the souls of both species - presented to the King by the Doguns in hopes of making peace with the city state of Rodoroc, to bring a peaceful end to this senseless war.

Olympic, Aftershock and Sunstar might get re-lored at a later date. I will include the original lore in spoilers. The reason is that I don't think they really represent the lore of Wynncraft and are badly written.

Also acts as a minor bump.
