uh, you dont HAVE to use mythics.
For my endgame assassin, im going to use either
Slider
Black
Weathered
Hive Infused Daggers

all of them are really good.

 

Totally weathered or nirvana with slider too

You could've bought my terrible Weathered for 56 LE. During the pre-gameplay update, I sold some mythics for a significantly cheap price. I sold Apocalypse and Alkatraz for like a stack of LE, and Inferno for 56 LE.
