My Only Concern With Powders.

Yes I know title is kind of clickbait-y

Please know that I am not against powders at all, in fact, I'm really looking forward to them, they're going to change up the game quite a lot in a good way! But there's that side of me that always worries....

Basically, I'm worried that they'll make the game a bit too easy, to me the game already feels a little easy in the Molten heights, and I'm only level 88, and that's a level 90 area.
Ok, maybe it's because I'm using Tisaun's proof and that Molten heights is sort of unfinished...
And, again, I feel that most regular mobs past level 80 are a little easy since they can't even hit you with all of your crazy spells you can use on them to kill them in a couple hits, even if they can kill you in a few hits, a level 60-70 player can still use knockback spells to keep level 90 mobs away and breeze through a high-level area.

Sorry for all the rambling, back to the powders:
What I'm trying to say is that we can already kill regular mobs quite easily without powders, and with powders, everything becomes cakewalk (for the most part), I would make a suggestion to buff the health/damage of mobs because of powders making everything strong, but that suggestion would probably called "buff literally every single mob in the game"...... Yeah.......

I'm not saying powders will ruin the game at all, again, I'm really looking forward to them! these are just my concerns...

 

'quite easily' remember before the Gavel update every mob that was your level or below, you could one-hit.

 

I hope you realize that powders probably wont have the same affects as last time which basically forced you to use green no matter what, so they will probably be somewhat equal and balanced

 

If you don't even know what powders do, I don't think it's fair to think that they'll break the game.

 

I think mobs right now are quite hard to kill due to mobs having powerful ranged attacks and its hard to get close and take a hit (for warrior and assassin duh). . I am personally an assassin and all my attacks are melee except smoke bomb which makes it really frustrating to get close to a boss and back up and at the time of backing up, the boss or mob already regenerated most of its health

So I'm saying powders can be helpful for melee classes. But make ranged classes op ;3

 

Two words... elemental defense. Powders, as far as we know, anyway, probably wont affect neutral damage.

I know that powders will pretty much add elemental damage/defense to weapons and armor.

 

let's wait until they're implemented to criticize them, eh?

Don't worry! There are tons of things to NERF before powder update!
