    well hi dudes, over the past week or so I've been building a fortress on my private server, and Id like to see what you guys think of it :D

    Wow, that looks great! Have you considered applying for the build team? The one suggestion I have is that if you're going for the "varied block type" look you should throw in some more block types, perhaps a little cobblestone would complete the look.

    I may apply cobble at the base, that might compliment the wooden beams and the water well, but I've been going for a more cartoonish look, and I'm not sure cobble will comply with that well.
    edit: the style is meant to be similar to the style of some of the other builds I have on the server:
