My First Thoughts On The Update

Here are some of my thoughts I have with the update so far:

1. The resource pack is.... ok. I still like @pale1 's pack a bit better.

2. Item Conversion is so messed up. I have a mix of both items IDed with the new system and the old system. I have special armor that isn't even converted. The Adventurer Armor set doesn't convert the pants. Chrylozoid Crystals turning into blue powder.

3. Item Identifier - It will eat your weapons if you don't have enough space.
4. Some Collectables now need to be identified to even use or view stats... rip.
5. Ragni's King still gives out old Ragni Scrolls.
6. RIP Wizard Fortress
5. Pets now produce horses when you ride them. You can also get vanilla saddles. (2 Vanilla Saddles does not make a horse btw)
7. Some loot chests don't have anything in them.
8. You can spin items in item frames! :D (You can also lose items in them... ;-;)
9. I have to identify basicly every item I have to know what it is.
10. um.... idk

 

Well I was hoping you'd at least have something NICE to say about it... It's amazing that it even works, honestly. Wynncraft is basically held to together with glue and duct tape at this point, so I'm in shock that the only game breaking issues were that there were delays and lag. Seriously, some of the bugs from the beta were ridiculous...

Anyone notice on the changelog how it said, "Fixed elevator glitch" ? I'm sure some of you spotted it and were confused as to what it even was. Well I'm not sure how it even happened, my theory is that it was an attempt to fix people getting stuck in walls. Basically if your head was detected to be in a block, it'd elevator you up until your head was in an air block. Sounds good on paper, but in practice it turns out your head clips through blocks A LOT. You could get into all sorts of places you shouldn't be and this would happen constantly.

Seriously, major props to everyone who did the beta testing and the developers who actually listened to our feedback. The update would suck if it weren't for you <3

Hey 1 question:
is it true that you can lose now your armor if you go Identifie it?

 

I didn't really get to play the update too much, but I'm sorry I didn't say anything nice. ;-;

 

11. I get kicked from the game even though I have the Pack installed.

Is it possible that inventories might be rolled back from this update to fix some of the issues? I just want to make sure that what we have right now is "final".

 

So... yeah, the airship quest is bugged, after you kill the pirate queen, you cant escape, as an iron trapdoor bocks it, ther is literally NO escape, other than death...

 

Just make a Bug Report yo - I'm not really sure what you expect Salted to tell you. There's better ways to notify the Admins about bugs :P

It is all fixed on the build server. In about 1-2 hours it will be updated on the main map.
