I like sports so i decided imma make playoff brackets for major american sports

(NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, NCAAF, NCAAM)

i may do world cup at somepoint but i know nothing about soccer so idk

American sports are lame

 

Wild thinking that boston can beat houston after barely scraping one game in regular season smh

While dodgers are the likely candidate just cause LA's pitching/bullpen is insane, I still want the braves to win xd

Also Yankees beat A's (as they should've xd)

 

the reason i picked the Red Sox over the Astros is because noone ever repeates in baseball (unless youre the Yankees)

and yes i want the Braves to win to, i hate LA

Why is it called the world series if only American teams participate.

i never understood that either

 

Because at the time Baseball was in the golden age, Americans was at the top of the world military wise, and since no one could top their military "no one could beat us at our own game". Basically just a lot of national pride.

 

Why do the teams have such weird names?
