Murder Mystery - King Of Ragni

The King of Ragni has been murdered. It's your job to figure out who did it. Question the suspects, investigate the crime scene, make a guess, and explain your conclusion. After this post reaches 9 pages, I will finish the game. Anyone who guessed correctly will receive a reward. Please put in how you think the suspect murdered the King.

OUR SUSPECTS
Royal Guard
Defense: "I'm the King's Royal Guard! Why would I have killed the very person I was trained to protect?!"
Information: Says he was getting ready to start patrol of the King's Castle at the time of death
Begins patrol of Ragni castle at 12:00 PM
Had rigorous combat training

A Lone Warrior
Defense: "I was just coming through to check out the Cook's Kitchen! I didn't go anywhere near the castle!"
Information: Says he was talking to a Wheat Merchant outside the city at the time of death

The Cook
Defense: "I work constantly. How would I have any time to murder anyone, especially the King?"
Information: Says he uses short, steel knives with single-sided blades
Makes the King's breakfasts at 10:00 AM

Ragni Citizen - Name: Billybob
Defense: "I don't think there's a point in saying anything; You're probably just gonna execute me anyway, though if you ask me, that Lone Warrior guy looked a little suspicious."
Information: Known for being poor
Has two socks and no shoe on his left foot
Owned a knife at some point

The Identifier (Pretend there's one in Ragni for a bit, mkay?)
Defense: "My magic keeps me busy, and I hold no enemies to my name. What would drive me to murder the King?"
Information: Says he has no magical abilities other than identifying

Defense: "My... Master sent me to... Ragni to get ingredients for a new... Potion... I had no... Malicious intentions..."

THE CRIME SCENE
The King is lying on his side on the floor in the castle's dining room, facing away from his table, with a clean, round hole stabbed in his back, with what looks like a small exit wound on his torso, symmetrical to the entry wound. A chipped piece of blade is on the ground next to the King's back. His glass of water is spilled on the table, some of it frozen in the cold room. There is a single shoe lying upside-down in front of the King's throne, and a Sponge Block in the fireplace.
A close look at the dining table reveals a dent in the wood, in front of the King's chair.
The approximate time of death is 11:00 AM.

Again, you may ask the suspects questions related to the crime, or investigate the crime scene more thoroughly.

Billybob is wearing two socks and no shoe on his left foot, though he is known for being poor, so that isn't much of a surprise.

No weapons are missing from the armory, though there is a rack of daggers with one dagger blade-side up, while the others are blade-side down.

The Cook, you skrublord: If you count my knives, I suppose so.

Billybob: No, I just kind of sit at home and do nothing. He had a guard bring me a cookie one time, so I don't really have any reason to be mad at him.

Lone Warrior: If by "suspicious," you mean "enough to kill a man," the amount of steak he has is definitely suspicious. Heheh... Joking aside, no, I didn't see anything.

The Cook's Kitchen seems normal. The knives are clean, the sink is empty, nothing out of the ordinary. There is quite literally a mountain of steaks resting on the counter.

 

Can I see the guard's quarters and Ragni arsenal, then?

So, I have a question: can I base my assumptions on what Florfy has done?

 

The Royal Guard's home is quite empty. It holds a bed, a chest full of clothes, and a weapons rack holding 4 spears of varying sizes. They all have a wickedly curved blade.

The King stops you from going into the Ragni Weapons Supply.

I'm kidding, of course. The Ragni Weapons Storage is filled to the brim with spears and knives. The spears rest on racks numbered with A1-A9, B1-B9, C1-C9, and etc. Every rack has one or two spears missing from groups of four. The knives are hanging on the walls with no markings like the spears have. There are three kinds: Straight, simple blades, blades that are curved like the Royal Guards', and blades with barbs in the "goes in easy, comes out rough" style.

The Cook: I begin to prepare all of the King's special breakfasts at exactly 10:00 AM. They usually get to him around 10:45.

Billybob: I had a knife for a while. Some stupid, thieving rat stole it from me.

Yes. Every player action links itself to other players. Essentially, you're all the same person.

The Assistant!
The Assistant was stuttering and said the King of Ragni sent him to Ragni?.....
The Assistant did get a potion though! A poison potion that killed him and being the assistant he had access to multiple things like the armoury and so he used that to cover himself up (as he impaled the king) as people would expect people that are skilled with such weapons to do it.
The water that was spilled on the table didn't freeze because it was a cold room! It froze because the potion freezes the king's insides which killed him and since it was in the water the water froze!
Because the assistant is not skilled with a weapon he struggled to use it and accidentally dented the table which chipped the blade off!

Okay, so... The royal guard's spears can't have killed him, it was a hole-shaped wound. The missing spears are likely held by soldiers.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... You chose a person who isn't a suspect, there, buddy. You're thinking of the Kkng's Assistant; The assistant in the suspects list is the Assistant on Black Road, used in the Potion Making quest. Sorry for the confusion.

The only wound on the King's body is the hole in his back.

The Assistant: I came to... Ragni... Some hours... before the King's... Untimely death...
