Mount Questions

Some quick questions about mounts.
1. Does feeding them diffrent level materials make a difference (e.g. copper vs granite)
2. Does feeding materials of diffrent rarity make a difference (1 star, 2 star, 3 star)
3. Can breeding result in a worse horse?
4. What is the maximum potential?
5. Is the trough shared across classes, or class individual?
6. To raise a horse's potential via breeding, do I have to max out the limit and skill levels, or just match potentials? Would I get better potantial if I maxed everything out?

 

You cannot feed them materials above their level

 

I don't know all the answers to these questions, but I'll speak as to what I know.

1. Based off what I've seen, feeding them higher level materials does boost the increase in stats they gain, though you can only feed them a higher level material if at least one of their stats meets or exceeds the level of the material. (eg, you need to have at least one stat at level 10 in order to feed them granite or any other level 10 material, same for 20, 30, and so on)
2. The grade doesn't seem to matter, the boost is the same from what I've seen.
5. The trough is shared across your account, if you take another character to the trough you can left click on the horse to get another whistle and it works across all your characters.
