Most Profitable From Lootrunning?

What do you guys think gains you the most profit lootrunning. In my opinion, powders are more profitable than trying to find a mythic. By the time I find a mythic, I'm probably going to have 15 stacks of LE in powders to sell. (I know like 80% of you will say finding a mythic is better)

Even if you make 20 le in a week, you'll still make 16.25 stacks per year

with adomorn's loot run, you can do anything :p

Definetly mythics if you are lucky. I have found a discoverer and got 15stx for it.

 

Mythic average with good loot bonus seems to be something like once every 2000-4000 chests, so if we assume a rate of 0.7-1 T3/T4 chests per minute (guesstimate), that's one mythic every 45-90 hours. A dedicated lootrunner may manage 1.5-3 hours per day, so Mythic chances aren't quite so small (once every few months, or around once a month if you're really dedicated). @500miles how much time did you spend lootrunning for those powders?

 

like 4 hours a day. However, I don't think I'm going to find a mythic that quickly. My luck is really bad + the chance of a mythic is 1/142000, how do you find one every 2k-4k chests. Unless each chest has 10 items in it...

 

Imo this is a pretty low average and I would say it's more around 6k chests.
Most people I've talked to said they only got there first mythic from a chest after 8-10k, and then there's other people who have said after like only 700 chests, so including the really high and really low I'd definitely put that average at 6k (and tbh that's being pretty generous still).
Hell if you include my classes I've deleted I've opened 12k chests total and still have yet to get a mythic from a chest but my luck is pure shit anyways so ye oof
I've gotten 2 from mob drops so I guess I can't complain as much as others though.

Its 1 in 5291. 999999÷7 (Mythic chance) ÷27 (Slots in a chest) = 5291

 

however, isn't most of a chest slot emeralds? Emeralds don't count as part of a chest right?

Im 99% sure each chest slot has a 7/999999 chance to spawn a mythic, and emeralds have nothing to do with that number

 

I'm at 15k chests and no mythic xD
