    Hello GAMERS

Ever since this whole pandemic stuff started and I had to stay inside all day, I started doing a lot of building in Minecraft again. Might as well share some of my favorite creations with y'all, even though some of them are unfinished. Enjoy.

Let me know if you have any feedback too, I really would like to improve at building in minecraft so criticism will help a lot.

:OOOOO these builds are beautiful!! Only feedback I can think of is maybe play with colors/block palettes a bit more? I think your builds would be more appealing if you had more variation. But your shaping is really good! (And I especially love your terraining)

I loveeee! It's always insanely exciting to see people getting more into building. It's honestly a fantastic tool to express random creativity that flows within your mind!

Since you asked for criticism, I'll say that it's a fantastic start- but I do feel like the shapes/designs themselves are maybe lacking just a little bit.
I think a part of that has to do with the smaller scaling- Like with the pillars on the bridge. They're 3x3 at the moment, which doesn't leave too much room for design play. If you made them 5x5 or even 7x7, along with maybe widening the bridge, you could add a lot more too them, without them feeling too cluttery. Same goes for the walls of the bridge, where it's just the block with a slab
Same sorta goes for the cave. It's insanely cute and cozy, I love it. But if you were to expand the space to be a lot more open, while adding more details, I think it'd be really nice too.

Like said, it's hard to do a lot of these big fancy details at a smaller scale. For a long time I turned my back to large builds because something about them just didn't click. But large doesn't always mean that it's not player scaled, it's just more the effect you're trying to give off. For me, it was mostly just letting my imagination take control over telling myself "it's not really realistic if x..." but it's different for everyone.

The trees look really nice too! I think a "mistake" that a lot of people make is not having enough air blocks mixed within the leaves, but you have a good handle on that all! Only thing I'd say is maybe look to define the shape of the leaves as a whole a bit more. I do like the hanging bits from the bottom :D

Anyway, building is an art and there's no right or wrong way to do it. Most important thing is that you enjoy what you do, and so long as you do that, you'll absolutely improve over time as you figure more out on your own or by finding other artists/builders who inspire you and picking apart their work to see what of it you want to apply to your own!

-Honestly, from my experience, a lot of the problems with your structure is in general square shape. Maybe try adding jut outs instead of having it all starting and ending in the same place? To help improve your shape, you could attempt to build and make an interesting shape with only one type of block, think a concrete?
-I'd also suggest experimenting with more blocks, there are a lot of interesting blocks you can find uses for (still ain't found one for sponge, jungle planks & a couple other blocks tbh) that you could experiment with. What I'd suggest doing is making a random pallet and trying your best to work with it to make a nice looking building
-In general, attempt to make your surfaces more interesting and less flat, though be aware of slab spam.

I don't think this is amazing advice, and I wouldn't say im qualified to critique your terrain, but I wish you good luck with your building, its really a fun thing to do and I hope you find enjoyment in it :)

dont use cobble as walls, especially framed with wood. maybe just a row at the bottom? cobble is kinda texture heavy
also try to variate your stone when terraining, maybe with some andesite.
i think you should also try to expand your castle upwards, to give it more depth
other than that, great builds :)
