I was bored so I started making models. Then I asked myself, "What if I could improve some of the current Minecraft models using a 32x32 bit texture pack?" And that's how I got here. I thought it would be cool if Minecraft was more detailed and had more of a retro look akin to games such as Shovel Knight and Enter the Gungeon. Remade Hopper: I tried to make it look more sloped and actually have a 3D top. Pipes: I always thought it would cool if Minecraft added pipes like in Tekkit. Sure it doesn't go with the medieval theme but oh well. Remade Quartz Pillar: I always wondered what it would look like if quartz pillars were you know... actual pillars. Idk if this screw up current building or not or if it even looks better, so tell me what you think. Oak Log: I wondered if logs would look better if they were round. In my opinion by themselves they do, but that would screw up a lot of current builds i.e. all of Wynn's trees. Maybe there's a middle ground or something, idk. Birch log: I thought adding a stage between saplings and full grown trees would be more realistic, and also give another type of fence block, so I decided to make this. Birch trees in rl are supposed to be skinny anyway. Tree This is still in the works, but I wanted to see what circular logs would look like, and how well the smaller logs would look as branches. I can't really make it bigger because of the 96x96x96 voxel limit, but I figured itwas worth a try. TNT: Lastly, I wanted to see what 3D TNT would look it. I personally like it better than the current model. I was going to add the fuse to the top later on, but I wasn't quite sure how to go about it. So what do you guys think? Are these models good, should they appear in Minecraft? Do I have too much free time on my hands?
