Maximum Mana?

I decided to just put all my points into the arcanist archetype and I unlocked both larger mana bank skills, but my mana is still the same as what it was before? It's been at 142 even before I reset my skill tree and it should be at 202? am I misunderstanding the larger mana bank skill?

 

Larger mana bank increases the size of the mana bank from the arcane transfer ability, not your regular mana

 

The mana bank is normally indicated by a boss bar at the top of your screen. some mods can displace/remove then by accident.

Your mana you hold on you to cast spells can be increased by investing skill points into intelligence and is not the same as your mana bank.

As an arcanist you can use your heal spell to dump the mana stored up in your bank to your mana pool (the food bar).
