Matryoshka Idol

So, I was wandering around the Troms Jungle, (I won't say where unless I have too) and I came across some coal. Naturally, I stepped on it, and was teleported to a room full of skeletons holding books. They were called "Legend Golems" or something. Anyways, past them, there was more teleport coal, and it brought me to a boss room, where I fought a Matryoshka Idol, which had 1o forms. Matryoska dolls are the russian ones that stack inside of eachother.

Anyways, I was given a Legendary Chestpiece called "Matryoshka Shell" and wanted to do some research on it.

There is nothing on the wiki about this.

If you know if this is part of a quest, or is reference to something, please tell me what.

 

I found this already.
The chestplate has 15 slots which is very OP for a level 50 item.

 

This was in part inspired by Mammoshka from Mario&Luigi: Dream Team, though that boss only has a matryoshka gimmick for one part of the fight.

Is this Armour piece good for late game due to the amount of potential tier 6's it can hold? Or is it even better than Legendary pieces around my level 66.

Sorry to necro this thread, but I believe I have a legitimate question pertaining to it that would just result in creating a similar thread.

 

Depends. It'll give you monstrous elemental defense, especially if you just pick one element and throw nothing but that type of powder into it, but it's got rather low health even for its level...

 

Thank you, I'll keep it as a memento but Millennium chestplate would seem to be the better choice.
