Hey, So I just started playing wynncraft about 3 or 2 days ago and i've been relying on the map to show me where the quests are because i don't know how to read coordinates, cause i am dumb, but recently the quests have not been popping up on the map so i do nothing now because i follow the maps directions to get from quest to quest and i've already done the clearing cache thing and nothing changed and i was just wondering if their was another way to fix it that i don't know of or if this is happening intentionally because they are fixing something.....?

Coordinates are a big thing on Wynn and are not as hard to use as you may think they are. I recommend looking up a tutorial on using them, there's many forums and videos that explain them really well.

Here, this is how I learned to use them.

    http://prntscr.com/n8jxh1

"The Y is supposed to be Z. I wasn't thinking about it as 3d when I drew it."

    It's legit just a grid.
Face one side of a block, walk that direction until you get the X cord correct. Then stop
Turn 90% then walk until your Z cord is correct.

Just remember to walk straight across the blocks, not diagonally. If you cross a block diagonally both cords will change.

The problem is that it only works for flat terrain, if you want to get through CotL for example...

    Lol no that works everywhere.

Going up and down only changes the y cord, not the x or z.

After a few treks though it, CotL becomes pretty straightforward to navigate.

Also, you can make the compass point in the direction you need to go by typing "/compass [x-coordinate] [z-coordinate]" in chat and the compass will point in the direction that location is. Ofc, it'll point "as the crow flies" and not the actual path to travel to get there.

    Edit: See correction below...

Sorry for miss leading people, after further investigation, the /compass is a command of the mod Wynntils and not part of the vanilla playing. So, I will say if you have Wynntils, this command will work.
