    so how does that black build work with practically zero mana regeneration and 11 mana steal?

    do you need to hit with super slow attack speed?

    Yeah, hitting with super slow has a 49% chance to trigger mana steal so most steal builds use super slow
    Assassin prefers mana steal over regen because you can’t regen mana while invisible
