Mana Steal Or Mana Regen?

Which is better.

 

Neither one is better, it’s just down to what fits a build best, and personal preference.

 

Both of them are good, although some classes prefer one over another a bit more due to how they're played.

 

everything that has been said is perfectly valid, but if you really gotta choose between the two, then by thumb rule mana regen is the best

 

If you plan on making a build that has negative poison/mana steal/life steal, or just having no melee potential, then choose mana regen.
If you plan on making a build that can melee and spell at the same time, or uses a weapon with super slow attack speed, then choose mana steal.
I usually like mana regen more though, as you don't have to hit enemies every few seconds, and most of the time I have negative life steal or mana steal, or just deals no melee damage
