Mage Stick Does 0 Damage? Started Playing After 3 Years

Hi everyone,

I recently got back into playing Wynncraft. The last time I joined was 3 years ago, so everything is very different to me now.

I still have my items, which includes my main weapon, the "Stick of Brilliance". It says "Neutral Damage 11-18", but when I left click on mobs it seems to do 0 damage. Sometimes it would deal just 1 damage. The only way I can kill even the simplest of mobs outside Ragni is to use my right click spells.

I remember 3 years ago my left click actually did damage. What changed? Is there a way to fix it?

Not sure what you're talking about. I'm a level 31 mage

 

Is there text in chat saying that you can't use the item when you try to bonk things with it?

 

Do you have -melee damage on something else that you are using? (main attack damage)

 

Nope. The weapon fires as normal, and the mobs do get hurt. It's just their HP does not go down at all.

 

What armor are you using?

Wait... Do you happen to be using this chestplate?


If so, the -main attack is making your damage negative, which becomes 0

 

This was it! My chestplate had "-21 neutral spell damage" and "-29 main attack damage". Time to find a new chestplate...
