Hello there! This is my first thread on the forums, so I hope that it doesn't end up being too long. :P

If you look at my stats, I'm a new player and have joined after being persuaded to try out the server by some of my friends in another Minecraft server. I am really enjoying it although I'm stuck on a few things.

    1. At my level, where can I get a good amount of Emeralds? I asked a similar level friend how many he had and he said 30+ blocks, whereas I barely had 15. Clearly I'm doing something wrong.

    2. Where can I get higher level gear, more appropriate for my level? At first we did dungeons to level everybody up although when people aren't online that's much more difficult to do and it is therefore more challenging to gear up. Similarly, my friends have 1k+ HP whilst I'm stuck at a measly 700.

    3. Where are some XP grinding spots for when I end up with no quests available? I just kill mobs that I see (normally in the desert) although that seems rather slow.

    Thanks in advance,

    Flat Eggs

    1. Doing quests, looting chests, and killing mobs. Your friend must have had a higher level than you, no?
    2. At your level, in the Desert around Almuj. Again, your friends must have had a higher level than you.
    3. There is a silverfish pit close to the Mummy's Tomb, the silverfish there give great XP for your level.

For some reason, it says you joined 2 years ago...

    Anyway, welcome to the forums!
From my experience, you don't have to grind for emeralds as if you grind for EXP (which you will alot) you will get a nice amount of emeralds after each grind.
But if you really need income, loot chests; the nonidentified stuff you find, just sell them. Do your daily rewards, well daily (right-click with your compass in your hand and click the chest at the bottom of your stats), and sell old items. If your old items consist of Legendaries and Rares, consider making a shop, you may never know what is valuable and what is not on the forums.
At your level, the desert is a good area to grind but be wary of the Dried Zombies and Scorpions; they deal a moderate amount of damage. If you are desperate for EXP, look out for high EXP Bonus armor.
I took a look at your stats page and it seems you are leveling up your Dexterity, this is not a good idea. As a mage myself, Intelligence is key but always have skill points if your armor requires it.
When choosing your armor, look at how much Intel, Spell Damage, and Spell Damage % it gives.

That's all I can do, the rest is up to you. hey that rhymed lmao

As ninjakai03 said, you might want to look into looting loot chests (lol). You might want to make a loot run - where you run around the province a specific way to collect as many loot chests as possible.

Something that's always worked for me is keeping all of the armor/weapons I find, even the plain old unidentifiable stuff, and selling it all to the item buyer when I get the chance. Another thing to note is that identified gear sells for more at the item buyer than unidentified gear, so identifying stuff before you sell isn't too bad of idea. Sure, you can end up with a net loss, but I've found that you'll almost always make a profit if you're hauling more than half an inventory full of items to identify.

Another thing I've done in the past is keeping a partial stack of emeralds in my bank next to my blocks/liquids and putting loose emeralds there instead of discarding them. It might not seem like much, but over time it adds up to blocks, even LE if you keep at it long enough. Although admittedly at higher levels it might not make much of a difference anymore, considering how inflated Wynn's economy is now.

Hope I helped at least a little.
