Another quick painting I've done recently. Enjoy.

You're right! It does remind me a lot of the hive, now that you mention it.

I've used photoshop for all of my recent work. Before that, I was using a free program called Krita.

 

Reminds me of the Lava Castle from Subnautica with less lava and less water.

It is always difficult to put into words reactions to certain pieces of art I have seen players digitally create and post here; but to put it bluntly, this work is beautiful. I am not sure how much work you put into it during those two hours, or even how much you respect this piece of art in relation to other ones you have done; yet no matter the case, I think the atmospheric perspective used makes the whole image seem far more eerie and visually realistic, as if glancing at the scene instilled with anticipation and fear.

I may be overstepping myself slightly, but I just wanted to commend you on this. It is not often that I see works I find to really be great around here. Great job.
