lost item when connection lost

Is that irrecoverable? I think I might be physically ill. I beat the fire boss, got a Clockwork and was redoing armor when the connection was lost. I connected again and Clockwork is gone. It was what i was moving from inventory to equip when the connection was lost.

 

If you have a recording, you might be able to submit a bug report (https://forums.wynncraft.com/wc-bug-report/) and have a chance there, you could also talk to staff. But unfortunately, I don't think you can. Best of luck though.

 

This just reinforces the idea that Hive tokens should be re-obtainable on the same class. Unfortunately it sounds like that item is long gone and we don't do item refunds

 

Yeah, I was pretty sure that was the case.

No recording. Not sure how much history they have of inventories, but I literally had it 10 minutes or so. I am sure the info exists to see that I beat the fire boss, so that I qualify to face Qira and I am sure they can look in the inventories of my classes and bank and see that I don't have a fire token and I don't have anything a fire token can buy. Then they would have to make a judgement call on whether I am an idiot or not. Unfortunately, there is a lot of evidence that says I am. But I am also sure they don't have time to do that kind of research for everyone that makes similar claims.

I just have to put it behind me and move on. It took me a lot of tries to beat the fire boss and I was pretty close to putting it off until I managed to get some other gear, like Infidel if I can manage it, and come back some time in the future. I came within 6 doses of healing potion of having to settle for doing exactly that. So I just have to build and play like I lost, but I do still have the satisfaction of knowing I beat the fire boss. Oddly enough, I am pretty sure I beat it twice but got glitched the first time. After a long fight with all the dialog except the ending bit, I got TPed to the hive division lobby before I could verify with 100% accuracy that the boss was gone and before I could pick up the catalyst. I still had all my soul points and no ugly message about dying. I paid attention to where I was TPed after beating the boss and getting the catalyst and it was the exact same spot. At least the aggravation over that is now gone.
