Lost In The Jungle Quest

I beat Possessed Aryn in the temple/stone structure, but it refuses to let me continue and tells me to "Make sure that Aryn's okay." I go to interact with Aryn after the fight, but all he says is "Who are you? Why did you come here?" and that's it. I can't proceed through the black thing.

 

Aryn has multiple forms. I think you have to /kill and redo the boss.

How have you broken every single quest at this point?
