Hello, I have tried to some research on lootrunning as myself and a friend are reaching the end of our leveling on our first accounts, we are looking into lootrunning! Although there is lots of information from many different youtubers, forum posters, ect, I have yet to find a guide that tells you 100% of the information, (although most of the videos and posts together add up). I still have a few questions about lootrunning

I've noticed that I should try to find worlds that have not had a lootrunner on, or servers younger than 2 hours. But I have noticed that as soon as you hop to a world and open a chest that HASNT been looted, the loot is still... bad? I assume there is a time period I must wait before I am able to obtain the full rewards from opening chests. I have read a post saying you should wait 30 minutes each world, but not only did this not really tell me anything about the chest mechanics, but makes we wonder whether if I have to wait that period of time, whether it's actually worth it?

I also want to check the validity of another piece of information I have seen saying that both loot quality and loot bonus have largely diminishing returns at around 40% and 80% respectively. Is this the case?

Thank you for any and all helpful comments :D

chest loot improves the longer the chest goes unopened, and when a world restarts all the chest loot gets reset to nothing. thus, you want the oldest chests you can find - but so does every other lootrunner, so generally you won't find a world that has been unlooted for longer than 2 hours
this is correct. once you hit 40/80 it's better to focus on mobility so you're able to lootrun as efficiently as possible (moving from chest to chest). if you have adequate mobility and still have free gear slots, there's no harm in using them to go over the soft caps though

i would suggest joining the lootrun discord for more information and tools

Reasons that your chest opened is bad: Either someone has already opened it (more often) or you picked a server that's too young (say, 1 hour is still pretty young)

Reasons you should wait for 30 minutes: Not really 30, you should only wait for up to 24 minutes (due to loot cooldown being 3/8/12/24m for t1/2/3/4)

Loot quality at 40% has an effectiveness of 25%, and onwards it's 5% loot quality for effectively 1%

Loot bonus at 80%... I forgot the actual effectiveness, but onwards the return is pretty low...

Additionally, you can join Lootrunner's Guild server for the lootrun files (You shouldn't bother with the toxic community though)
