    Lootrunning Guide

    Pre-requisites/Knowledge:
    1. Beacon Rotation and Rules:

      • There are a total of 10 different types of beacons: Rainbow, Gray, Dark-Gray, Blue, White, Aqua, Yellow, Red, Purple, and Green.
      • The rule states that 3 of the beacons; Red, Green, and Aqua cannot appear consecutively in the rotation.
    2. Example Scenario:

      • Suppose you have a sequence of beacon options: Aqua, Yellow, Red, Purple, and Green.
      • According to the rule, after choosing any beacon (let's say yellow), the next beacon cannot be Red, Green, or Aqua. This lootrun rule is indefinite and will ensure that you cannot get Aqua, Red, or Green as those options were in the rotation of the previous challenge.
    3. Impact on Beacon Options:

      • If you have 5 beacon options (Aqua, Yellow, Red, Purple, Green), the rule prevents the sequence Aqua -> Red or Aqua -> Green from occurring.
      • This rule helps to diversify the types of beacons that appear consecutively, ensuring a more varied rotation.
    4. Adjusting Beacon Rotation:

      • To adjust the beacon rotation and potentially reset or change the sequence, you might need to limit the available beacon options temporarily (like avoiding certain types such as Orange which add more available beacon options).
    5. Fixing the Rotation:

      • Lowering the number of available beacon options or letting certain options expire can help reset the rotation, allowing for a different sequence to occur in subsequent rounds.
    6. Practical Application:

      • In practical terms, if this pre-requisite is not followed, you might end up with repetitive sequences of the same beacons (like Aqua, and Red being on the same rotation), which could be undesirable for the redemption strategy which is covered later in this thread.
In summary, the rule ensures diversity in the sequence of beacons by preventing specific types (Red, Green, Aqua) from appearing consecutively. Adjustments in beacon options or allowing certain options to expire can help in resetting and fixing the rotation to maintain variety and to enhance one's lootrun experience.

    Challenge Guide:

Challenges 1-6: Focus on Orange Beacons over Blue. If no Orange, opt for Blue unless Rainbow appears—always prioritize Rainbow.

Challenges 7-10: Ideally, aim for Rainbow by Challenge 7 for Rainbow+Aqua+White. Without White, use Aqua+Red; You can complete all 12 challenges without having to grab time

Challenges 10-30: Emphasize Aqua+Gray Beacons. Avoid non-Aqua'd Gray after Challenge 30; consider Redemption strategy for a higher sacraficed pull count.

For Equilibrium without Cleansing Ritual: Save 20/30 White challenges, doing Aqua+Red to gain an extra 12 challenges and complete the 12 challenges within 15 mins. Afterwards, you should have 2-3 minutes left on the clock, you then want to complete 4/20 saved White challenges to regain time up the the 15 minute max, then repeat Aqua+Red cycles, using Aqua+Purple and Aqua+Dark-Gray to complete the red challenges and in-between Aqua+Red cycles grabbing the 4 normal/white challenges to boost your time back up

Challenges 30-100: With Equilibrium, focus on Aqua+Purple; add Cleansing Ritual for curse management, ensuring a smooth run to Challenge 100.

    Mission Guide:

    Missions (Gray Beacons):
    1. Equilibrium: Always prioritize.
    2. Cleansing Ritual: Optimal for easier runs.
    3. Ultimate Sacrifice: Prefer over High Roller.
    4. High Roller: Use if other missions aren't available.
    5. Redemption: Recommended for Aqua+Red strategy, managing time efficiently.

    "The God Run" Explained:

The God Run: Achieved with Equilibrium & Cleansing Ritual, optionally Ultimate Sacrifice & High Roller. Allows uninterrupted lootruns not wasting challenges on grabbing reds & greens, maximizing loot pulls without having to worry about time constraints.

This lootrunning guide optimizes beacon choices and mission priorities, ensuring efficient progress through challenges up to 100.

With ultimate sac, is it worth it to try and get time or get more boons, or should I just continue with no boons

If you have Wynntils. You're beacon overlay should say Red: AmountOfBeaconsChosen (AmountOfRedChallenges Left). I.E Red: 1 (12). That means I grabbed 1 red beacon and have 12 red beacon challenges left before I can start gaining time. Each challenge should take 1-2 minutes. We will go with the max of 2 minutes/beacon including travel to next beacon time. That means, It would take me ~24 minutes if I complete all 12 within the max time of 2 minutes or 12 minutes if the min time of a minute. If you find yourself at 15 minutes on the scoreboard when you are forced to grab a red beacon and it is not 12 challenges, you will be good 100% of the time and you should grab greens. If you find yourself taking the max amount of time a beacon should take each beacon, you should grab a Aqua+Green the first chance you get and continue grabbing boons/curses. Personally, I would not run Ultimate Sacrifice without Equilibrium unless you want to do a short run with the most effective pulls. I.E You already did your first 3 missions and got no Equilibrium and your final mission choice does not have Equilibrium either so you choose ultimate sacrafice and in this situation, you should Aqua+Purple until you start dying a little and then when it starts to become harder to survive start grabbing boons if you want. Personally, I would Aqua+Purple until I can barely survive and then Aqua+Dark Gray and after that I would end the run by doing /kill and then talking to the lootrun master to cut the run early.
