Render Look! There's Something In The Sky! (ferst Rinder Yey)

I made my first Render and man it took about 3 days to solve how to make one...
Stupid legs, now you know why I cut them.
Dunno how to make a background yet so ye.



You can give me ideas if you want. ;)

Try Mineimator. Like 1000x easier once you get past glitches.

 

It's user friendly, but I wouldn't recommend if you want to go further with rendering.

Trust me I've been doing this for 3 years, your renders get better and better with more knowledge of how stuff works, but with mineimator it is designed for when people have no experience but wants to whip up a quick 3d model of minecraft. Blender is a good alternative though.

 

Because I used to do renders on Blender and I can help you with backgrounds if you want.

 

If you could teach me a few tricks about the background that'd be nice ;) Thanks for offering!

 

I can give you some Blender tips:
1. Use cycles. Internal is older, and most people use cycles because it's much more realistic and looks better.

2. Use a background. your render can look really out of place and boring, if it has no background. Use terrain, or put the render at transparent mode, and add a background with Photoshop/Gimp

If you get really good at Mine-Imator, you can get it to look like a blender thing or cinema 4d thing.

 

Can you show me some exampels of this? I've never really seen any that make me question whether it was made with mineimator or not.

I understand this, but I can't get a Minecraft Scene into my render, I dunno why, when I render it, the screen is just black..

 

The camera might be inside the terrain.

 

What program are you doing this with? I use Mineways and that works great.

 

I'm using Mineways to import the world, but for some reason I cant render it.

Still, I agree with @PhotonInfinity. I hate to say that, but if you want things like faces, better lighting, extruded skins, and dynamics on clothes and hair, you have tibstart using a better software.

Mine-imator is made for starters, and you should not use it if you wanna get better in terms of quality.

Try using a real animating vsoftware to make your renders even better!
