Like Skyrim, But Not.

Does anyone know of a game that is like skyrim, but has a better combat system, because lets be honest, skyrims combat system is equal to hitting people with Cereal boxes. And with more alive towns. While Skyrim has towns that are nice, I'm looking for board games, gambling, taverns with people who have stories, etc. Still open world of course. I hope one of you out there know of something. Thanks in advance!

You can also get it on Steam, which is probably the better choice if you have a good PC.

Should probably invest in a better PC than a console.

Elder Scrolls Oblivion?

 

Own it, the combat system is still god awful, but the world and towns are nice.

 

The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, That is unless you want even worse combat controls, but the game is amazing either way.

 

I've heard alot of good stuff from morrowind, and I will get it eventually on my quest to own all elder scrolls games

 

Then you're going to need Arena, Daggerfall, Redguard, and Battlespire. You can get Arena and Daggerfall for free on the Elder Scrolls Website.
(Just a little warning about the first two games, they're map sizes are massive)

 

Fallout is like Skyrim, but with guns, and another one is coming out in 2 months so yeah.

 

I am very very familiar with the fallout series, been a fan for a good few years now, but thanks.

 

Witcher is an amazing game, I have it and it has a nice combat system, its closest to Assassin's Creed that I can think of, but even more in depth. Of course fallout 4 but they're guns, not melee.

 

Fallout also has melee, but you get guns so easily now theres no reason for melee
