After reviewing your thread, I've come to the conclusion that I neither agree nor disagree with your proposition. On one hand, it's good to have short and simple threads, since they're not only pleasant to look at, but also quick to skim through without skipping something potentially important. Simultaneously they make sure, that the creator has to put a lot of thought and effort into their text so their point comes across clearly. Short texts are also good at preventing readers from getting burnt out from the thread, and clicking away to do their daily business without a wall of text in front of them. In theory, it's good for both parties. The author has to use less of their precious energy on typing letters out with their feeble fingers, and the reader doesn't need to overwork their eyes or brains to process the overload of information they're given. Although, this doesn't come without its fair share of problems, some of which might in fact be quite intense. Some people say, that an image is worth a thousand words, but how could you possibly make sure, that every reader interprets images the same way? Adding instructive text within them would defeat the purpose of decreasing the total amount of text that people need to read. Meanwhile, you can't convey all that much information with universally understandable sights, so with these two issues, what'd even be the point of using images? Should we just accept, that there's a constant underlying risk that someone misinterprets a thread's meaning? Surely we can do better than that, right? Oh, and not to mention the fact, that humans like variety by nature, so executing your idea could have a severe effect on the psyche of the forums' userbase. "Like" isn't even a strong enough word to describe it, since in actuality humans desperately need variety in their lives. A repetitious land of threads with a low amount of actual substance, all while said substance being super potent, could be dangerous. High amounts of dopamine for short periods of time would leave people craving for more like drugs, and while being unable to get more of it due to the relatively small size of Wynn's forums' userbase, people could get severely depressed whenever there's no content to consume. Alongside all this, we'd also need to consider how your idea could actually be implemented, if that were to happen. Should it be strictly enforced with rules, or should it be a mere general guideline towards newer more inexperienced users? While we're at it, we might as well ask who the source of excessively long and dull threads is. In the aforementioned sentence I referred to newer users, but the more you think about it, the more you start to realize that your past experience with the forums shouldn't be that big of an influence on your actions. Sure, a lot of people have a tendency to try to fit into groups via copying what's already there, which is fine, but surely that's not the case with every living being. Some like writing from the bottom of their hearts, while others wan't to get it over as fast as possible, resulting in sloppy low quality and small texts. But, going back to the topic of enforcement, how could we ever even determine the methods that the original idea should be enforced with? A democratic vote could undeniably give us accurate results of what the general public wants, but there's no way we'd be able to get everyone it affects to participate. If we were to conduct the questionnaire on a group of volunteers on the other hand, we'd risk getting biased results with an even further risk of making masses of people unhappy for making the wrong decision. At this point I'm already starting to heavily struggle with finding more garbage to write, also known as something that could possibly fill this massive wall of text up. Most of the text so far is completely nonsensical, and hardly conveys any meaning. Heck, a lot of it doesn't even follow basic grammar rules, especially when it comes to comma usage. If you're lucky, you might even find some misspelled words, although who would be dumb enough to read through 1042 words when they have hardly any meaning behind them. More importantly than that, each and every single piece of information that this text contains is most likely false, since not even one fact has been researched before clicking the "post reply" button. They haven't even been googled nor thought through in any capacity due to this post being one singular stream of thoughts that's translated into english by a pair of hands with 5 quick fingers each. Although, for all you know, I could secretly be an unnaturally intelligent octopus with fully functional human hands at the end of all 8 tentacles. Oddly specific description of something that's just a theory, isn't it? Funnily enough, octopuses are estimated to have the intelligence of around a 4 year old human being, so the theory wouldn't be too far fetched. Though, the question of how an octopus could've mutated to have human hands is an entirely other story. While I'm on the topic of stories, I should probably remind myself that I didn't set myself any character or word count goals for this wall, so this text could end up going on indefinitely. Kind of reminds me of the dozens of times I've written super well researched and perfectly written responses to threads and other posts, and simply abandoned them out of boredom despite already having hit the 8000 character mark. That tends to happen way too often, especially when there's something more important to be written. I'd imagine that I subconsciously use it as some sort of a coping mechanism for myself, since I can't pull myself to write about the things that I actually need to write about, such as school essays. Even at this very moment, I still have 20 thousand unwritten characters for pieces of work that I need to get done within less than a week, because all I can do is procrastinate. So, what did we learn from this? The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.

You're right, you really didn't need that comma. In fact, I'd argue it shouldn't be there.
