Lava Springs Bugged, What Should I Do?

So, I was doing the Lava Springs quest and I had 7 Corrupted Evidence, and when I went to give it to the Colonel and he wouldn't take it, saying I didn't have enough, so I decided to start over and throw the current evidence in the lava.

after doing that, I killed two more mobs that drop evidence and the game said I had enough.

I went to the colonel again, and he says I don't have enough (as I have 2/3) but the game doesn't let me acquire any more evidence up.

 

File a bug report. Until then, I don't know what you can do.
