Just A Thought For Lore

just gonna straight jump into this because idk how to title this properly.

Everybody remember in the countdown to gavel there was that picture of the worm? And then during taproot there was that worm thing, and it has something to do with the lore? Idk really

Well it seemed really familiar to me for some reason, and I realized that isn't the worm that multi entity boss from the gavel trailer? You know, the spinning thing that is fought in the beginning of the trailer? Really I just think it's cool that we're going to fight this worm thing later. Also maybe this post will help with something, who knows?

 

Yeah, who knows the backstory of this strange creature?

 

Yeah, the Taproot worm just sort of slithered(?) away after it infected the ground, who knows where it could be lurking.

there are so many cool things that were shown in the trailer but wont be in the game until the follow up update
the big thing is the amazing boss fights

That's likely part of the official storyline, since in the trailer it shows Salted talking to Ragnar, who, from the looks of it, is going to be an important character in the main storyline.
