This is my attempt to make somewhat a normal house

yo guys first of all, the title says "Simple House", not "I BUILT A HUGE FREAKING AWESOME MEDIEVAL RUSTIC HOUSE OMG LOOK"

Are you all seriously expecting some FyreUK-class houses? This isnt your average rustic house-filled Your Work section, so do expect some mediocre builds. Not everyone here can build well, you know.

Well, no luck on the internet. Go ahead smart man.

 

I don't see the problem. It's a pretty decent house for what I see. Of course there is room for improvement but no need for all the negativity.
On-topic: The exterior is pretty common and not bad at all, one thing that I would personally add is like some edge to the bottom of the house to complete it. The interior can also have that feeling of "less empty" if you just do more tables/beds, as simple as that. 9/10 for a simple house like this.

 

It's decent, I guess, but I highly suggest you watch some of Grian's videos.

 

It isn't bad as you were going for "Simple", but I think a few things I would like to point out: (prepare for honesty)
- The texture pack first of all kind of MAKES it look good, although I can kind of get an idea of what it looks like without it.
- I believe that panes would make more sense in this kind of house, although panes look pretty good anytime :p
- Overall, this house looks really good for what it was meant to be.

It's quite basic and simple, but I see great use for it in survival mode.
