Mage/Dark Wizard Judas Build For Thunder Mage

Well, I am not rly good at making builds, so I'd appreciate it if you could tell me if this build is good or not and if not, what I could change.

It uses some hard-to-get items, so it's not for everyone who has some money. You'd have to invest some time into the game for this build to work properly (5 Hive Master items, 2 LI items).

(As secondary wand for most mobs, I use cascade in case the mobs have elemental weaknesses. And bonder for some neutral dmg :) )

Not quite. See, if there is anything surviving your meteor, it's probably a boss. And if it even has thunder defense, Curse comes in handy so you can damage it even more. For example, with T6 Thunder, this build would feed Qira ~6k thunder at max crit. With T6 water she'd eat ~19k at max crit. See where I am comming from?

For those who have a life (unlike me) and not bested Hive a billion times, I have a similar build down below. It also focuses on Judas' Thunder Damage and a decent ammount of health/defense, but since it uses less Hive items, it's not as good as the one above. Still a good alternative in my opinion! And of course you're free to switch Diamond Static Ring with a Mana regenerating Ring if you want to have more Mana regen! But I'd suggest putting at least 47 points into intelligence in order for your meteors to only cost 5 Mana on first cast :)

Note: You'll still need to have done hive one time until the Water Floor for you to get the hive water pants (They are smexy), sorry about that but I think that shouldn't be too hard.

Spoiler: How to play this build:

Either way, I'd recommend you used a secondary Weapon to regenerate Mana. It could either be Bonder or Cascade, but Cascade has the advantage of giving you walkspeed bonus in addition to 3/4 mana regen so you can move around while regenerating.
If you use Fatal instead of Judas, you can also Melee for extra Damage and Mana Stealing, which comes quite in handy with the fact that Melee will also charge up your Curse so you can damage Bossmobs even more :)

If it still stands after 2 meteors of yours, it is most likely a boss.
Try to isolate it, meteor it, heal immediatly if you get hit, and if you run out of mana, switch to cascade. Thats if you mess up. If you're really good, you switch to cascade every 4 seconds to get the full load of Mana Regeneration from this tactic. If it wants to stalk and follow you, snake it with ice, tp away and let it taste a meteor.

If it has thunder defense (like qira) I'd recommend using a different weapon. If you have loads of money, try going with fatal and 2 t6 water for qira to eat up to 19k meteors (tested with motoki's damage calculator). Either way this build is more efficient with fatal, but Judas is for people like me who have less money than Time to run a god damn dungeon 6 times...
If you have less money, try out bonder and neutral her to death. It is a hard fight, but not impossible. All in all, Judas is not cut out for a Spider. Same goes for orange wybel. Just try avoiding their attacks. You can confuse wybel by tping through him so you have some seconds to regenerate and collect yourself. If you see him casting charge for example, tp through him so he is blinded and please do not touch him. He may be fluffy but his charges damage you either way, so avoid it please :)

I don't want to be rude but there is no point of using this build considering the items are REALLY hard to get and there are better options,but it is a good build.

I wouldn't call it OP (bc it would attract Admins attention to pull out the nerf hammer (jk)) but it definately is good imo :)

Also:

Not really.

3 mr and 5 ms isn't 'great' especially with -750 Life Steal. Needing to constantly heal will drain your mana, removing your potentially devastating meteors. It is good, but could use improvement ;)

I'd say both require less master hive but are 'better' in terms of damage and mana. The original build is also very outdated as it uses Dark Channeler (got nerfed pretty hard for its mana and element defenses post rounding and dungeon's/discoveries updates). the one I proposed is much better, but requires 2 water hive (kms) so might need different pants for the Pre-Second Hive players. Maybe Tophet could be a decent replacement.

 

The problem I see is (no hate) that most ppl think you just stand there and take the damage. If you get hit once, just heal once. But try to avoid taking damage is needlessly to say important as a mage.
Furthermore, I recommend using a secondary weapon such as cascade to regenerate mana a bit quicker while having a bit of a walkspeed bonus to move around. It's not everything about the build but also about the player not just standing there pretending to be a tank. I fought qira and had to heal every 20 seconds or so when she hit me once or twice.

Another thing: Your proposal uses 2 Hive items, as you already stated. Thats not the problem itself. But the problem is that if you exchange items in your build you're likely to get -elemental defense which I try to avoid in my build.
Perhaps this is a good alternative w/o ANY hive items. Still not much mana regen but viable health, defense and damage. Just don't stand there like you're growing roots, try avoiding attacks.

I can see where you're coming from, but the mana is basically nonexistent. 3 mr and 2 ms is sub par. also you barely hit the 68 int mark. I'll try and whip something up with a little more MR/MS later. Christmas calls ;)

You can also use Suppression instead of MPC, which doesn't use 2x water hive and it gives you a bit more mana (and the mana steal is still fine)
