Hey guys, i was wondering what kind of crafting ingredients you use when you craft yourself rings/necklaces/bracelets etc.

I was looking at crafting ingredients at wynncraft gamepedia

But none of them combined together can make a ring better than an average ring u find in open world.

    Is jeweling kinda underpowered now?

Hey, someone with over 100 in jeweling here. Jeweling sucks. Accessories don't get lot of durability, and the ingredients are so-so. Jeweling has kinda been underpowered from the beginning, but ever since Frozen Ghostly Essence got nerfed it's been even worse. You can still make quite a bit higher xp/loot stuff than what we currently have with non-crafted rings, but yeah. I've seen very few actually good jeweling recipes that are worth crafting. I wouldn't recommend going for jeweling; woodworking or weaponsmithing is probably the best choice until more ingredients have been added.

I'm pretty sure that crafting a level 100 ring with tier 3 materials gets the same amount of durability as a level 100 armor piece or weapon made with tier 3 materials, which enables crazy stuff like a walk speed ring that caps out at over 50% walk speed.

Thanks a lot Bart, im kinda new to wynncraft and hearing from someone who has lvl 100+ is very helpfull feedback. I guess i will just drop doing all professions and focus only on those that give me desired weapons. (maybe armor too)

True, but from my experience you're usually using ingredients with very high negative durability to justify using that accessory over an already existing one, making your durability (especially on rings) quite low.

100-125 durability on an accessory is fine; apparently it loses durability slower than armor but I don't want to test.

Anyway, sounds like the recipes could use some work the way I see it.

Accessory durability is perfectly fine. I can complete two full LI runs before the durability drop affects my ring's power.

@Bart (MC) spell damage accessories are good, walk speed is good, and xp bonus is alright (and maybe loot bonus necklaces). But yeah the inability to get anything aside from that is a little frustrating.

I can confirm that armouring / tailoring with lvl100 tier 3 materials has a base durability of 420, which means that if jeweling also has a 420 base durability then yea they've got the same durability.

The patterns I've been observing so far (70s jeweling) match this trend.
