Jester Items

Are the Jester items broken? When i put them on, the set bonus is negative xp and loot bonus. Is this just a visual bug, or does it actually change the stat?

 

It's meant to have that negative effect. You get good stats but you sacrifice others.

 

It's supposed to reduce mainly xp/loot bonuses to balance the set, unfortunately the set bonus doesn't seem to work currently. Which means you don't get the full set bonus of -100 health, -40 melee, -70% loot, -70% xp, +5% walk speed, and +300 spell damage (the most important part). Hopefully it's fixed soon though!

 

So the set bonuses do not work? Or they just dont work fully?

 

It's strange, they seem to slightly reduce the overall bonuses, but nowhere near as much as the set bonus says it should. You also don't get the +200 melee damage from 2 pieces or the +300 spell damage from 3 pieces.

However even when the set bonus is fixed, with a set of 3 jester items with 30% in each (maximum is 33%) you can still "profit" 20% loot/xp bonus from the set after the 70% reduction, and still get the lifesteal, mana steal, and stat boosts from the accessories themselves.
