Items disappearing?

So you know that circle slot just above the ingredient poach? Idk why but I never noticed it until now.

After getting the spirit emblem from The Guide, I was like "oh, maybe this is a new slot for emblems!" then put it. Aaaand its gone. Re-joined the server a couple of times and still gone.

I tested with other items, they all just disappear. Am I dumb or did they add a bin inside our inventory and I just didn't know it lmao

 

That slot drops the item that you put in there.
