Issue With Resource Pack

My friend (GreenGeek1) keeps trying to log on, but he never gets the resource pack. We tried all of Salted's suggestions at https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/cant-play-wynncraft-because-of-the-pack-heres-how-to-fix.98023/ and we tried to download the resource pack from the post made by the villager moderator (can't remeber his name or the post, sry). We even tried doing /toggle autojoin to stop the class selection from stopping the resource pack download. We've tried to go into the world through the compass and the nether portal in the main lobby. However, whatever we do, the downloaded resource pack is always out of date and the normal server resource pack never downloads because he falls into the void. Anyone have a solution?

 

use 1.8?
Also put the download in the resourcepacks folder, not server-resource-packs.

We tried 1.8 too. Also, we put the un-zipped legacy and the legacy.zip in the resource pack folder and in the server resource pack folder.

 

Then this is your side and has nothing to do with the server. If it's not in "Resource Packs" in game after putting it in the correct folder, it's not Wynncraft doing it.

 

Could the fact that my friend has a mac have anything to do with it?

 

Most definitely that could be an issue. I'd have no clue how to fix it though...
