Is wynncraft fun with a second person?

I wanted to play with a friend (their highest character is like lv 20). I myself have gotten only to level 75ish during the 1.20 beta but never further than that in recent years. Is the game still fun with other people or is it too easy? What is a way to make it harder? Any suggestions?

 

I have a ton of fond memories of playing through Wynn with a friend, I’d say the servers systems work really well with co-op. I’d also say your friend’s lack of experience with the game might help offset the advantage of doing stuff with two players.

 

Playing with another person is always an enjoyable experience. One can argue that some bosses may be too easy but I think a 2 player thing is a perfect balance between not too hard and not easy either. The only downside of playing with multiple people is quests will break frequently. Quests are not intended to have multiple people doing it at the same time and certain cutscenes can bug out. To avoid this, I recommend each of you entering cutscenes one at a time and waiting until the other has finished before entering it or going on separate worlds and have player ghosts turned on if you want to run through it at the same time (the only downside is if there's a boss, you obviously can't fight together)

 

But is it fun for a first(ish) playthrough (I mean like lv 70+)

 

I've done several playthroughs on my own and recently started one with some friends, and I find it enjoyable no matter what part of the game it is, even if it's their first time or not.

It's an mmo, one could argue it is meant to be done with friends. I certainly find it more fun with friends, either having a separate character that I play only with them or just doing content with them when they're available and doing stuff on your own when they're not. As for making it too easy, Wynncraft isn't really a particularly hard game, and that isn't, at least in my opinion, the appeal of it. Most of the harder parts are also balanced with the expectation of players teaming up, so generally they're at a better difficulty level when you have several people with you.
