I'm looking into building a new, powerful PC. I have never built a PC before, and so I would like to ask around on multiple sites to see if they have anything I should change about it.

Here is a link to it:

Is there any incompatibilities? Will I run into any issues? Should I know of anything before, during and after building it? Will I need to buy anything else?

Note: the operating system is personal preference. Unless you think it's incompatible, I will stick with it.

This looks good for the most part. The new 6th gen i5 CPU is very good for the price, beating the old i5-4690k in performance. I don't really know much about Z170 motherboards, so I can't say anything there.
I would recommend a Seagate Barracuda instead of the WD HDD you picked; it's a little cheaper. Also, if you have the money, I would suggest a 240GB SSD, you may find 120 isn't enough in the future.
AMD GPUs have a reputation for having high temperatures, which can have an effect on the lifespan of your entire PC. For a bit cheaper and roughly the same performance, you could get a GTX 960 instead.
Your PSU is 650W, which is far from what you need. If you replaced your GPU with a GTX 960, you would be well over what you need with a 500W PSU, which will save you a bit of money.

you can install windows on a usb for free so that might save you 100 bux. with that extra 100 bux you can probably afford a GTX970 and thats gona play games really well

pretty sure you can install windows 10 from microsofts website for free on a usb. If you don't want 10 you can go with 7 and buy a disc i guess.

I would recommend just buying the OS to avoid any issues. Also the 970 is considerably more expensive than the 390, which is why I mentioned a 960 instead.

Looks good only thing is if you want to play any modpacks you may want to look at getting more RAM
