Is This A Good End Game Mage Build

After the Spell Dam nerf alot of people tell me that Mana Regen builds are better and some say Spell Dam is still better.

I Decided to get the Mana Regen build

Here it goes
- 4/4 Mana Regen Third Eye
- 7/4 Mana Regen Aquarius
- 4000+ Health(Including base Health) Greaves of Veneer
- 4/4 Mementos
- Full Jester Set (Mainly for Spell dam, as well as good XP and Loot)
- 1/4 Mana Regen Moon Poll Cirlcet

So all in all I have a decent amount of health, 16/4s Mana Regen (Alot of people tell me above 15 is unneccessary) And some Spell damage from Third Eye, Mementos (I believe), and Jester Set

Tell me where I can improve and if this is even a good build to begin with.

 

I'd say this looks decent, if you favor reflection and speed over health you could also replace Greaves of the Veneer with Crystal.

 

The build is good for getting really good mana regen, but you don't need to primarily focus on getting the max mana regen on all of your gear, since going above 15 is a waste. It will also be easier for us to discuss your build if you can show us your skill build and weapon.

You might as well replace the Moon Pool Circlet with another useful ring of your choice with a different useful buff. The wand you use will make up for it. As for a replacement ring, Raging Wind can be really good if you want some speed integrated into your build, and to compensate for the negative walk speed of the Greaves of Veneer.

 

Well for Skill Build im flexible, as in I don't have a specific build, I just want to put skill points into whereever i need to wear the armor then put the excess in Strength and Defense, And ya you're right I should focus on Walk Speed a little.

 

Hm, honestly your accessories are better with something like:
Double tisauns honor, justice and stormy amulet.


However, for a tanky mana regen build ud reccommend phoenix wing, making your endgame incorporate agi over strength.

If you are open to this idea, i reccommend:
-third eye
-dreamcloud (3 mana regen, amazing defense)
-resolve (unique, but amazing hp and stat buffs)
-Determination

-supression (mana regen) x2
-justice
-royal cyclone amulet

This set has impeccable defense, and generally cant be killed by most normal attackers. Heal is easy to get back to full, and your immense def and agi should make it near impossible to be out of the count after a brutal onslaught.

With this in mind, however, i reccommend caution. This set cannot outdamage high hp regen or the pacing of heal. You will be agile, laugh at sheer damage, and still do a great bit yourself, but perhaps replace a supression with a poison based ring to start getting chip damage.

Anyway that's my rant on the best antipode like build~

 

So your build is more or less the opposite of mine. Yours has High Defense and High Agility while less on Mana and Attack and mine is more Mana and Some Defense and Some Attack with Low Agility. Hmmm not sure which one I would choose

Your build seems nice, but I would rather have the one I proposed mainly because I can heal really fast so high damage still wouldn't be much too me, but the only thing I need to work on is the Agility in my build.

 

Just thought id suggest a step in that direction, as third eye + veneer in your original build seemed to suggest you wanted to be pretty tanky :P

 

No your build was good, just not what I personally prefer. But ya I mainly chose Veneer to give me lots of health because I already have 15/4s of Mana Regen and Third Eye for its spell damage and 4/4s Mana Regen

 

Yeah I got it. You just needed a bit of extra health because theres no really good mana endgame pants, and theres no point in a healing spell if you get one hit. Its the reason I had 70 def before gavel.
