is there support other than bug reports?

I reported the issue that prevents me from finishing (even though I basically have finished) ROL 3. I can live without the rewards and recognition, but now I am locked out of the remaining ROL quests, which are central to the backstory, Seems like it would be simple enough to set that status as done; they can see from current status all I have left is to walk out of the dining room for a cut scene. It's annoying that a bug in one quest dominoes and keeps me from doing others, particularly a main theme set of quests.

 

Have you tried doing the entire castle section again?

 

Based on what I'm hearing you're not the only person having issues with RoL 3 so it's likely a widespread issue. If running through the whole quest step by step doesn't work, you might have to hang tight until the next patch and hope it gets fixed then

 

Can't restart. When I go to the castle, I get sent to the dining room dining room with my status as take the final door out of the dining room, but no door is open. So I do the food and cake and the door to the first parkour and upside down run opens. I do that, come back and the second door opens to the void - black nothingness. If I go through, the door will close behind me and I am stuck and have to /kill. If I come back out before it closes or don't go in, all doors stay closed until I distribute the food and cake and it will do exactly the same thing again - do the first one, second one opens to black nothingness. What happened is that when I first did it, when it made me appear in the dining room way up high, I thought it was the start of a cut scene. When I realized I needed to go, I went ahead and jumped forward taking damage to try to bolt for the door but didn't make it. I think you are supposed to jump in the fountain to avoid damage. I can see having to do the whole dining room over for that mistake, but it should work. The parkours in that one are not awful, so I wasn't that upset when I thought I would have to do it over. The second one that it is not letting me redo turned out to be way easier than it looks; the sparkling clouds are actually decent sized solid platforms that you can stand on a while.

I hope there will be some kind of notification if it is fixed, I don't want to keep retrying every now and then like I do with Elemental Exercise. In that one, the weapons guy doesn't have the test results to trade me for the bow at the end. So I would carry the bow with me and stop and see if he had the test results every now and then but he never has. But going to the castle and redoing the first parkour just to see if I will get stuck and have to /kill is a bit much.

 

I love this game in general, but the quests bugging out is getting old. There is no NPC creature in the water under the house in Lexdale. I peeked at wiki and then at a video because I couldn't figure out what to do. So I leave, disconnect, reconnect and go back down - the creature us there! But there is no identifying sign identifying it as an NPC or mob of any kind and it is following me around like a pet. Tried a few more times and added it to my list of bugged out quests...

 

I was able to restart Lexdale; went back to Mayor, clicked, dialog, back to the house again and this time it is there and I can follow it. I had done that before; my status had already been to investigate the house. The quest does have one thing I really like; I got teleported to the end of parkours after repeated failures.

and done - so I will actually add Lexdale to the good list.

 

Forgot to mention that once it worked, I saw that the NPC was a different little creature than the one that was often in the basement and stared following me around. Still very odd that it was unlabeled.
