Is there a way to get rid of duplicate quest items?

I wanted to start my character fresh and go back to the beginning. I can't get rid of quest items from old characters so I can't store the new quest earned items.

Is there a way to increase storage and/or delete duplicates?

 

Fully fill your inventory and then split an existing stack of items and replace the item you want to delete
Or chuck them in your daily rewards chest

 

create a class, skip tutorial, fill inventory with said dupe quest items then delete the class
