    It'd be cool to be able to skip the loading phase by already having the resource pack downloaded. I mean sure it's 10 seconds tops but it would be nice to have it both to go into the server quickly and see what all of the textures look like in a normal world.

    You can get it out of your server resource packs folder and use it as a normal pack
