Mage/Dark Wizard Help Is Pure Viable For Endgame?

This probably sounds like a stupid question, but I just wanted to confirm as I couldn't find much else for water & air DMG.

pure is a good wand for levels mid-high like 70-80 but over that is like... meh, i mean there are better wands for endgame builds, so my conclusion is, no. isn't a good wand to do a endgame build.

ikr, some endgame builds use ethereal, still i think pure isn't understimated, isn't a good wand, thats all

 

Lunar Spine is a better Water & Air wand for endgame. It doesn't have air damage by default but adding air powder will give it a ton of air damage since it has a high air damage boosting ID.

Well thanks to @Nyam we can once again see how terrible Pure is DPS wise:




Black = Normal / Depressing
Yellow = Unique
Purple = Rare
Blue = Legendary
Red = Mythic

left to right is lvl, down to up DPS (damage per Second)

Pure is the red dot in the 60-70 area, if you can't find it it's because you're looking way to high.
As you can see, Pure is so terrible it is even outmatched by the Normals in that Level range.
To answer your question: NO. Pure isn't even viable for the Level it's intended. It shouldn't even be a mythic, it's a member of the Depressing item Family tree that somehow got into the mythic Club.

I believe that if you look at the amount of spell percent you can pretty much put like tier VI powder (the same element) and put on armor that gives a bunch of dmg % to the type of element you have on your powders and pure is then op.

I'm not saying Pure is good, it's just no way it's worse than normals in that level range kek

 

I didn't actually know that, but still that's max id and most of the time it is still just a giant ball of dissapointment.

Pure is absolutely garbage for endgame. The 520% Spell barely accounts for any actual damage whatsoever. With a pure build that I tested, I would only get 5k meteors. /shrug.
