Is Mages Meteorite Bugged?

So i was doing an Gavel quest and then 2 ogre attacked me i started doing meteorite i had full mana but i did it over and over again but still it didnt do metorite.

 

There's this bug that exists where if you spam meteor spell, the spell will not have any effect. The spell is working 100% fine, but spamming will "kill" the meteorite mid-air.

Basically if you activated a meteor spell, but while the meteor is still in mid-air and you activated another meteor spell, the second meteor will destroy the existing mid-air meteor and continue the entire spell process again.

TL;DR don't spam meteor spell, wait until it hits the targeted mob then do another one.
