Is Losing Items A Glitch?

I just lost my Maelstrom, and I'm wondering if its a glitch.
Back to using my scrubby Clairvoyance.
Dammit.

 

That very much depends on why and how you lost the item. If it just randomly disappeared out of your inventory, it's a glitch. If the item falls to the ground or vanishes because your skill points all show "0", it's a glitch. If you lose an item in a item frame, it's a glitch. If you drop it anywhere, because you hit your drop key, that's your fault. So, you see, it depends on why you lost the item, in order for anyone to say with any certainty whether or not it's a glitch.
