Is Downloading Wynnpack Bannable

i was just wondering if i were to download wynnpack without being on the server would i be banned, and if so why? if not then how?

and I don't think its possible to download the pack because its located in the server files... I may be wrong...

 

I don't think it's bannable but exploiting it may result in a warning I guess?

 

You have to download it to use it on the Wynncraft server, ofcourse that won't get you banned.

Something that might get you banned is talking about items (which you found in the resourcepack) which are spoilers (from none released content for example) or items which are related to the ??? quest. (I don't know if a item exists which is related to the ??? quest since I havent done the quest yet...)

It's okay to use it. Salted has stated that anything they didn't want people to see got removed.
There's been a few posts about it and a few found things. But as long as you don't break current rules, such as openly talking about ???. You should be just fine.

 

Step one: take the legacy.zip file from "serverresourcepacks" and move it to "resourcepacks"
Step 2: you're done!

I don't know if this is still the case, but I wouldn't risk it. I'm sure if the team wants a public download to be available, they will publish it themselves.

 

Why would they make a separate download link while we already download one which works and is always being updated when they add a updated?

 

Just to clear things up!

It is NOT a bannable offence.

The only ones I know of is relic gear locations and the ??? quest.

They specifically took out all the items (except for the runes?) that were not meant for public eyes.


I do not think it is aloud to claim it as your own, redistribute it, or use it for any public thing. (I wanted to use it for a map, but I guess I can't)

 

Imagine downloading a game and looking at it's textures (in the files of course). It's the same ;D

Yeah that's fine for sure. I would assume that it's OK as long as you don't pretend it's your own work or use it commercially or stuff like that.

 

You're fine. Besides, if it was bannable, they would have no way of knowing if you don't redistribute it and you play singleplayer or on other servers.
