Interested In Helping The Server Without A Staff Position? Read

Just some words of wisdom: You don't need a title to be a leader.
We aren't talking about leadership in this short thread, just some places where you can lend some helping hands, and stand out more as members of the community.

But get it through your head: you don't need to hold any position on this server to make a difference. Here are some places you can help:

1. I'll start with the Wiki. There are currently 4-5 of us who are active. I was inactive for a long time, but since I've been back I've gotten access back and have made 200 edits over the past 4-5 days. It needs a lot of work. It needs updated images. So if you have good grammar, and can follow directions on the portal, I'd point you there. There is also more within the portal on the wiki that needs to be done that a few of us don't know how to do (like gifs).

2. Suggest, don't complain! I say it a lot, but if you want change, suggest once or twice but don't complain about the issues on the server. It's one thing to report a bug or put a lot of work into a change you'd like to suggest to something you don't like, but complaining that it broke the server or what not won't help the situation. In fact it's just annoying.

3. Media and Advertising. You don't need thousands of subscribers to get a few views on a youtube video. In fact a few goes a long way. If you're into that stuff, make videos, walkthroughs (not of ???**), tutorials, class setups, etc. Go bonkers, just don't advertise the IP on other servers.
You could also spread the word, tell friends who dislike their currently server or play singleplayer. Or maybe to someone who likes minecraft and RPGs. A little may not seem like much but it's helping.

4. Be active. I'm a culprit to inactivity, but building up the forums do help. Making threads, making it interesting (not obnoxious, there is a difference).

5. Donating. I know money is different for everyone, but if you have some spare money and are interested in helping the server financially go for it. You'll get a few item/xp bombs too. But remember that this is optional, and I don't recommend or require it. It's solely optional (and w/ your parents permission if you're under 18).

These are five, ways, that I would go about helping the server. You don't need the GM position or any other staff position to do anything. It's as simple as that.

Let me leave you all with this though: Don't complain in threads. Don't be disrespectful. Do something! Don't just sit there and do something! In fact I just suggested some ideas!

 

And don't advertise the IP on big (or any other) servers because that's just degrading.
