Ingame Compass

Hello everyone,

i was wondering why the ingame compass is pointing in the wrong direction.
When you start in Ragni and are directed to the emerald trail to the east, you have to follow the compass to the south.

 

afaik, the compass is never actually used to direct you anywhere, except when you start a guild war, it points to i think either the center of the territory, or the guild banner of the territory

this could already be a feature idk, its been a while since ive played, but they should make it so if you are tracking a quest, the compass will point to the next quest update spot. i cant imagine that would be a increadibly hard thing to add, and it would be a nice quality of life thing

 

FYI, in the wynntils mod, they have programmed the compass to be able to point to a coordinate using '/compass x z'

 

If I’m not mistaken, the compass default points to ragni all the time. Not completely sure on this though.
