Congrats on 160 Supporters btw!
Cool i guess. Maybe it would show up on your class selection screen so you know how much you currently have it set to for each class. like an extra piece of information on each class
That would require them to put in more then 5 mins worth of effort, someone would post. "To much work not a priority"
So I'm posting this as a bump, but also just because this is cool af.
@Corpe _ Good job on the sweet remix. Do more please lol.
@Arata may I ask for a reason or at least a nagtive to the suggestion?
This is just my opinion, but:
Suppose I left a class on 100% for when I was grinding exp for the guild, and played some other classes, levelled them up, do whatever, and I join back to the original one, and it's still on 100% guild, I do a quest and turn it in, losing all the possible exp and I'll have to grind mobs for the next year or run dungeons. But again that's just my opinion.
Maybe it should be toggleable as to whether you can set it to that or not.
Seems odd to have guild xp at 100 before level 100, but OK.
Still keep in mind that your still keeping up with less then you normally do.
Let's imagine the same sceniro but as it currently is, your grinding for guild xp.
Assuming this is some kind of alternate universe then this happens.
You forget to turn off 100% guild xp after your done grinding, meaning you end up having it on while leveling up other classes. You could also get on to a level 104 after and you forget to make it 100 just to top it off.
I suppose the difference is one is far more convenient when you have a max level class, so the xp it has never changes.
Yeah, that would probably explain why our personal opinions are different.
However I still stick with the point that it should be toggleable, whether they are the different per class or not.
I won't call it "too much effort," but I'd call it "too much information." They'd probably add everything more important than this (how many things would that be? 1? 190?) before they suggestioimplement your suggestion, so it may be too much content on the class selection screen.
It seems like there are many suggestions out there that can be solved with a toggle. However, having tons of options versus few options is something I don't know much about either way
If somebody changes their XP percentage on one class, it's unlikely that they'll forget that their other class was unaffected by the change. It's possible that the memory of the old system will cause them to mess up, and it's possible that they'll think they changed their first class's XP when they actually changed their second class, but I don't think this likely to occur.
As someone who has had 100xp bite them in the butt a few times,
@Mox gang uwu
Again, stat a reason, other wise, I'm starting to think your disliking them becuase its me.
Bump for me? I get tried of this.
Downside: More annoying, to set it individually on each class
Better idea: notify the user, everytime they change class that "Your guild xp is set to 100%" and then they wouldnt forget about it
Also, please change your there-s to their-s, because it drives me crazy
How is it more annoying?
One would require you to change it once pre class, and one requires you to change it everytime you change classes.
Its only true if you want all your classes to have a uniform guild xp set, even then, its not much more work.
222 supporters now, let us conquer the xp lands
Maybe add like a /guild xpall 65 to change the xp % set for all classes to the same value. But yeah, this would be a nice change.
Please, I'm still looking to figure out how having to change your xp every time you switch classes is less annoying than having to change it once pur class.
I've met the struggle of having 100% xp on guild when doing a quest or just grinding xp.. so I definitely support this
I had this recently. Guild was like 99% to the next level put to 100% on my level 97 mage. Did it, woot. Was so happy. Went to my lvl 15 shaman, got fucked lol. So please?
