In need of help! Stuck in The Hero of Gavel quest

I'm currently near the end of the quest where you have to reactivate the geyser using molten metal found within the blacksmith in order to escape through the sky light. However, for some reason, the cutscene would not play when I interact with the geyser even though I have the lava bucket on hand. I'm not entirely sure if this is a bug or if just missed a couple of steps. I came here to see if you guys have any further insight on this matter before I report this as a bug.

I've attempted several things such /class, /kill, and switching worlds to no avail. I was also desperate enough to try and manually climb out of the skylight, but it was blocked off by barrier blocks.

 

Hero of Gavel is just generally pretty jacked up right now so you might have to wait for a bug fix next hotfix/patch
